Speaking at Stroke Association Kent Volunteers Forum
I am speaking at the Stroke Association Kent Volunteers Forum about how photography can help Stroke survivors with their recovery
Speaking to volunteers and staff from the Stroke Association about my Perfectly Imperfect programme. I will be explaining how I have used photography as therapy during my ongoing recovery my stroke.
I will share details of the successful 2024 workshops and exhibition and how I curated the programme to enable 13 individuals who have been directly or indirectly affected by stroke to use creativity as a recovery tool. I will explain how it gave them something new to focus on. A purpose. A sense of identity beyond being a stroke survivor.
